Bone & Soft Tissue Grafting (Gum Grafts)
Bone grafting, sometimes called ridge modification, is a procedure often required after tooth loss, bone loss or when preparing for a dental implant. Whatever the need may be for the procedure, Dr. Minott-Warren rebuilds the bone structure with a bone graft in one surgical visit.
Dr. Minott-Warren also specializes in tissue grafting, which is usually performed to treat recessed gums. Gum recession can occur as a result of involuntary clenching, constant grinding, or natural wear and tear on sensitive tissue. Tissue grafting can be completed with either a donated graft material (allograft) or your own healthy tissue.
